Looking for a great way to spend time with the family this holiday season? And want to get a little more use out of that family RV? We took a look at a couple of the top holiday light spots in the California to help you find the best possible family fun behind the wheel.
Enchanted Forest of Lights
Each year, the Descanso Gardens puts on a tremendous, one-mile light show through their “Enchanted Forest of Lights”. This particular event is not a drive-through holiday light event, but it’s worth the drive and fun to hop out and take a stroll through the garden and admire the holiday displays. Tickets go relatively quickly for this event, but there are occasionally walk-up tickets available.
The biggest draw at this lovely outdoor setting is the incredible and stellar light show they put together. The magical displays fill even the grinch-iest of holiday hearts with a little excitement and joy.
Christmas Tree Lane
The history of Christmas Tree Lane goes back nearly 100 years at this point. The city of Atladena is fortunate enough to have a 0.7 mile boulevard of deodar cedar trees nestled in their delightful city. Each year, they string more than 10,000 lights across the more than 100-year old trees. Cars, RVs, and mini-buses from all across California make the drive and line up to try and get a slice of that holiday spirit while driving down Christmas Tree Lane.
Christmas Tree Lane is located on Santa Rosa Ave. between Altadena Dr. and Woodbury Rd.
Make sure to have your passengers snap a few photos of the stunning cedar trees while you enjoy the holiday!
